This has been a godsend. My husband broke his leg a week ago. He was given crutches at the hospital and I rented a wheel chair to get him around. The wheelchair was a nightmare. It did not fit through all the door frames. The crutches were very uncomfortable. I found the kneewalker on the Internet.
We received it yesterday. The reason I did not give it five stars was because the instructions were not clear. I had to go on utube to figure out where to tighten the handlebar..
My husband can now go in every room and in the back yard. He is now independent again.

Enjoying my scooter
I bought this scooter a month ago and love it. It was easy to put together, although the steering mechanism did take about 15 minutes of staring at it before I finally figured out how it worked. Other than that, it was all put together and ready to ride in about half an hour.
I often have a hard time walking by the end of the day and this enables me to remain mobile. I have tried the knee scooters but they are hard on the knees and the foot that has to support all your weight when you are pumping. This scooter is wonderful as it enables me to mobilize around without stressing my other joints. It is sturdy and easy to move about my home; not too heavy either. I do not have any carpets so I don't know how well it works on carpets.
I am definitely happy I invested in this scooter. JAne
